Fashion week: a plethora of stunning clothes, new faces, old friends, endless flashing lights and blistered toes. If only the glasses of champagne and front row views could be forever…**sighs**.
With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in full swing, it’s safe to say that MBWA: You have totally upped your game! **Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oy oy oy!** With stunning resort collections from designer collections including Zhivago and Ginger & Smart and a saucy catwalk appearance from Bella Hadid, there is a whole lot of tales to tell…
MBFWA opened with a serene and whimsical display by the unofficial master of shapes Toni Maticevski. Set in the minimalist and raw backdrop of The Cutaway at Barangaroo
Reserve, guests were taken into a wondrous daydream of paper-like
textures, oversized ruffles and punchy, disco, metallics.
As this was the dressiest show I’d been invited to, I went all-out glam in a full length C/Meo Collective dress. Apparently there was some sort of unspoken memo that everyone was going in black and white. Good old’ Rach stood out like a neon sign saying ‘Foreign’ in this teal number! **Rounds of applause all round**

Day Two: Ginger & Smart, Georgia Alice, Yeojin Bae, Misha Collection, AJE & Zhivago
bit of girly glam courtesy of Ginger & Smart. Georgia Alice provided an
array of slouchy shapes to a backdrop of some sort of crazy 90s rave. Bella
Hadid lead a girl gang that was the definition of #goals in Misha Collection
and Zhivago was a musical ode to the age of the selfie.

funked it up with a wide-set choker and boots to ensure that I didn’t look like
I was serving behind the barricades. The fact that I actually got street style ‘papped’
makes me think that I succeeded! Score!
